No Roger, No Party… Right? · WRONG! No Roger, big party! David is the heart and soul of this band!!!! · Okay, my agenda aside I do like this album. Gets too much hate. The thing about the songs on this album is that they are pretty decent on the studio album, but they are out of this world when performed live. So the…

Room For Squares · I begin my quest to review the John Mayer discography with his very first album. And arguably his best! I was surprised how good it is. Guy was pretty young and this is his first label release. Good job John. · No Such Thing is an awesome album opener. Why Georgia is super good too. My Stupid Mouth…

Takin it to the Streets · Awesome album! Really great listen. Kinda the album that made me realize I really like yacht rock. · Every song on this album is good! Which is something that is always nice to be able to say about an album. But some songs are definitely better than others. · I really love For Someone…

Dire Straits · This is their debut album.... are you kidding me? · What a way to introduce yourselves to the world. Their first and in my opinion also their best album. · Starts out so strong with Down to the Waterline. Water of Love is also great. I remember being really into those first two tracks when I was growing…

Little Feat are rad · Idk the vocalists name but his voice is so amazing. I love his vocals so much. Big fan of Little Feat. This album is good but just doesn’t have that factor that some other Little Feat albums have for me. I love the title track, The Fan, Spanish Moon, and Rock and Roll Doctor. Also Skin it Back is…

One of his best. · Neil Young rarely misses, and he really didn’t miss here. I love a good bookended album. My My, Hey Hey/ Hey Hey My My are both great. And it’s fun that they mimic each other without being direct copies. I prefer the electric Hey Hey My My personally. Powderfinger is also excellent. But for me it’s…

This album kills · Steely Dan at their beautiful best. So tight. So good. One of the greatest albums of all time. My personal favorite track has always been Deacon Blues but it’s very tightly rivaled by almost every other song. Notably Peg, Black Cow, Aja, and Home at Last. Love Home at Last. Really phenomenal album…

Rock of Ages · The onlt thing better than The Band is The Band Live! This live album is so killer and would be the best thing that they ever produced if not for the genius of The Last Waltz. · This live show is packed full of Band essentials like Stage Fright, Don't Do It, King Harvest, The Weight, The Shape I'm In,…

The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking · An album that I’ve known and enjoyed for quite some time, but just recently found it on vinyl! · Very good music on here. Roger clearly felt he had a point to prove with his first solo album and first album after leaving Pink Floyd. · But who do you recruit to replace DAVID…

John Mayer PT. 2! · Not his best album! Certainly not as good as his first album. Guy was still finding his feet. First album was so good right out the gates. A little bit of a dip in form here. But some pretty solid tunes here too! · My personal favorite song is Something’s Missing. Daughters is also awesome but I…

And then came 2006… · Oh John…. After a great first album and a decent but also slightly underwhelming second album, you blessed our ears. · This album is amazing!! By far the best John Mayer album. Every song is pretty much a killer song so I won’t go over them all. But my personal favorites include Stop This Train,…

The Final Cut · Well I’m probably the first and only person in history that can say that the first Pink Floyd album they ever heard was The Final Cut. But it’s true. And it makes this a special album for me. For a long time I would defend this album to the death. And I still would. But I don’t rate it quite as highly…

Holy Smokes… · Holy Smokes they did it again… · I thought they were done making INSANELY good album. Boy was I wrong… · 1994… David Gilmours tone hits a new peak. “What Do You Want From Me” is SO GOOD. The intro of Cluster One is also fantastic. Poles Apart is crazy good too. I could go on and on. The Wall · Pink Floyd rounded off a run of 4 albums that would solidify them as one of the greatest bands ever. Simply another phenomenal album. The bands first and really only double LP because the instrumental Endless River doesn’t really count. · So many songs on this one so I won’t go over them all. I’ll just…

Their best album. · The greatest Pink Floyd album. And if you ask me, the greatest album of all time. That's right, this is my favorite album! · This is prog at its peak. Three of the greatest 10 minute masterpieces bookended by a love song? Even a secret hidden guitar solo that was never really released to the…

Phenomenal · At this point Pink Floyd was cooking. Coming off of their best album so far and huge commercial hit. They went a pretty different direction with this one and yet it's still fantastic! Feeling like a pretty Gilmour driven album, between the 25 minutes of Shine On and Wish You Were Here, but the lyrics are…

Good Album... · JK! It's a great album! For how much this album is talked about it very well may still be underrated. · Every track is captivating. Yet Another Movie · Get it? Yet Another Movie? It's a Pink Floyd joke. · Anyway this album is significantly better than More. Every song on here is super solid. Adam Fart Brother · WOW! What an improvement from their last album! From Ummagumma, arguably their worst album, to AHM is actually pretty insane. · The album opens with the title track. Ummagumma! · Can't be bothered to give this album another listen just to review it. It's been years since I listened to this thing all the way through. Let There Be MORE band members! · A step up from their first album! Most Underrated Beatles Album?! · So good. Too many people are haters! Across The Universe is sooooo good. David Bowie's version is lowkey trash but I can see why he wanted to give it a go! Great Album · Silly goofy album cover but a very good album. They even covered that Gene Clark song! · Every song on this album is tolerable, which in my opinion is a feat in itself. My favorite Beatles album! · I will refrain from saying that this is the "best" Beatles album because there are so many good ones that it is very subjective which is the best. But the B side of Abbey Road alone makes it my favorite. The medley is so amazing. Sometimes I struggle with "Something" and "Here Comes the…

Great album. Neil Young is consistently fantastic. Some of my favorite Neil Young songs are on this album. The title track, Motion Pictures, See The Sky.. so good. I don’t particularly love Vampire Blues or For The Turnstiles. But that’s okay. They don’t suck, they’re just not great.
