The greatest Pink Floyd album. And if you ask me, the greatest album of all time. That's right, this is my favorite album!

This is prog at its peak. Three of the greatest 10 minute masterpieces bookended by a love song? Even a secret hidden guitar solo that was never really released to the public? Amazing. Roger's lyrics are at their peak in 1977 and so was David's guitar genius... Or was Gilmour's guitar peak in 1994?

Dogs is perhaps the best on the album. 17 minute of dark, aggressive music full of guitar solos. Pigs is perhaps a personal favorite of mine, although I go back and forth. The talkbox solo on Pigs is so cool. Sheep is awesome as well. Rick Wright gets to play a bigger role on that one. Wright also has some awesome key parts on Dogs throughout the entire song.

Pigs on the Wing was the first song I ever learned how to play on a guitar. Very special song to me and also just a really good song in general.

The highlight of the album for me is the guitar solo at the end of Pigs. Too short in my opinion but definitely one of Gilmours best. Such an angry sounding solo.

I could listen to this album every day. And we aren't eve talking about the new remix of the album that came out a couple years ago. I am excited to see what the band releases in 2027 for the albums 50th anniversary. Perfect album.
